Record turnout for CMSF's 21st

The Conference of Major Superannuation Funds (CMSF) is turning 21 at a time of unprecedented change for the industry, so it’s no surprise a record number of delegates will attend – but service providers need to hurry if they haven’t registered yet.
With the Conference two weeks away – it will be held between Sunday March 27 and Wednesday March 30 at the Gold Coast Convention Centre – the chief executive of the Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees, Fiona Reynolds, said there were only 20 spots left for service providers.
A record 1200 stakeholders in the future of not-for-profit super funds have already registered, including 652 trustee directors and fund staff, 218 government/regulator/consultant/other types, and 330 funds managers and other service providers.
With FOFA, Stronger Super and the proposed super guarantee increase all in play, there will be no shortage of debate, and the likes of ABC-TVs Barrie Cassidy and Tony Jones will be along to facilitate it. The Conference will also hear from Superannuation Minister Bill Shorten, and chair of the Stronger Super implementation committee, Paul Costello.
